Here is your link for A Brief Guide to the British Political System assignment: (note, there is no corresponding assignment, just thought this was a beneficial and short read.

Also read your text book, pages 91-182. Seems super big but you have until test day (late in the first week of October.) Be sure to take the test at the end of the section, the pages of which are included here. The answers are posted in the back of the classroom. Great Britain is one that is comparable to the United States in some ways, so sometimes students who feel that they already know a lot about the U.S. should start by taking the test at the end and then tailoring down their reading to focus on what they need more information about. Just some advice from years past.
